Diversion details

National Highways says people travelling westbound should take note of signs showing the hollow diamond symbol, following this diversion route:

  • Leave the A35 at the A37 (Poundbury) junction, known as Monkeys Jump Roundabout.
  • Travel north west on the A37 towards Frampton until the junction with the A356.
  • Turn left on to the A356 towards Misterton and the junction with the A3066.
  • Turn left on to the A3066 travelling southbound towards Bridport and the junction with the A35.

“Road users wishing to continue their journey eastbound are advised to follow the above, but in reverse. However, there is not a diversion symbol for this direction,” National Highways says.

“If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.”
