Barnsdale Road in Leeds reopens after cyclist ‘seriously injured’ in crash recap πŸ’₯πŸš‘πŸš“πŸš‘πŸš“πŸš‘πŸš“πŸ’₯

A cyclist has been left β€œseriously injured” following a crash in A656 Barnsdale Road, Leeds.

The crash with the cyclist and a black Audi A6 estate happened shortly before 12.50pm today (Friday) on the A656 Barnsdale Road.

Emergency services including West Yorkshire Police and air ambulance attended to the road which remained closed for five hours following the crash.

A spokesperson issued a statement urging those who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.

They wrote: β€œAnyone who may have witnessed the collision, the circumstances leading up to it or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident, is asked to call West Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference 713 of 14/11.”
