A police appeal has been launched after a biker was flown to hospital with serious injuries following a crash.

The crash, which involved a motorcycle, happened on the A525, Nant y Garth pass, in Denbighshire, yesterday afternoon.

A man in his 20s, who was riding the bike, was flown to hospital by an air ambulance.

North Wales Police (NWP) have appealed for witnesses, or anybody with dashcam footage, to contact the force.

A NWP spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses after a man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision on the Nant y Garth pass in Denbighshire yesterday afternoon (Monday, 3nd January 2022).

“The single vehicle collision happened on the A525 Nant y Garth shortly before 3.10pm, and involved a white Triumph motorcycle.

“The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was airlifted to hospital in Stoke.”

PC Martin Done of the NWP Roads Policing Unit added: β€œWe are keen to speak to anybody who may have seen the motorcyclist travelling in the area prior to the collision, or anybody who may have dash cam footage, to contact us as soon as possible in order to assist with our investigation.”
