CRASH INVOLVING LORRY AND CAR ON THE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY CAUSES DELAYS πŸ’₯πŸš‘πŸš“πŸš‘πŸš“πŸš‘πŸš“πŸ’₯

A crash on the northbound dual carriageway, which has involved at least 2 vehicles – 1 of which has spun 180 degrees, is causing travel delays in Newport this morning (Friday).

The incident has occurred just past the Lidl slipway on Medina Way.

Emergency services have been alerted to the crash, which occurred just before 11:40.

UPDATE @ 12:25 – The dual carriageway has now been closed northbound with traffic diverted via Riverway.

UPDATE @ 13:05 – Medina Way has now re-opened in both directions as a result of Police clearing debris from the carriageway.

It’s been confirmed that the incident involving a Honda Civic and a Scania lorry belonging to MCM Construction.
