Two men have suffered ‘life-changing’ injuries in a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the smash on Park Hall Road, Park Hall, shortly before 10am on Thursday (October 21).
They were treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be life changing.
Now Staffordshire Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage of the collision, which involved a silver Peugeot 206 and a silver VW Golf.
A police spokesman said: “Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for information following a serious collision which occurred on Park Hall Road.
“At 9.50am on Thursday, police received reports of a road traffic collision which involved a silver Peugeot 206 and a silver VW Golf. Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident.
“Two people were treated at the scene by West Midlands Ambulance Service for serious injuries and were taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be life changing.
“We would remind people not to speculate as to the cause of the collision or comment inappropriately as this is a live ongoing police investigation.”
